I have a passion to write and document the beauty found in raising and educating arrows (children) and sending them out full of light and purpose. I am first the daughter of the most high God, and second the mother of five and the teacher of many.

I received a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Masters of Education from Post University. I have also been schooled in the field of “hard Knocks life”.

My family has journeyed through homeschooling, private schooling, and public schooling. We have experienced foster care, adoption, divorce, and Type 1 diabetes. We have survived and thrived through many experiences. All of which have been challenging and heart changing.

Currently I can be found in the classroom, coffee cup and smart board pen in hand. I am a 5th grade teacher, a writer, public speaker, and co-host of the Free Failing Podcast. I have been inspired to write and speak about these and many other topics. My heart is overflowing with words that I hope will make you laugh, smile, connect, reflect, and most of all, feel loved.

Thank you for visiting.
